Briar Valley Sim Game was originally created by Impy, way back in 2011.
Codes & plugins used to build this forum are credited to their original owners at PB Support, Adoxography, Slightly Insane, and other PB resource sites.
Theme/skin was created by the staff of BVSG and is not to be recreated/used elsewhere (the DAY AND KNIGHT skin was created originally by Impy for her other site, but modified for BVSG).
Thank you!
1) Members are required to keep an updated list of the horses they own, show, and breed.
2) Stable websites can also include pages for things such as awards the stable, member, or horses have received.
3) Information on the website should be kept current; and updated each game year at the least. * Information can be updated as frequently as the owner would like, each game year is just a suggestion. *
4) Each horse's page should/must list the following items:
The mare/stallion report (for more information on mare/stallion reports, click here).
Show or breeding horse.
A list of their progeny. * Links to the foals are recommended, but not required. *
A link to their BVSG page.
If you do not have a Weebly account, please use the BVSG link (www.weebly.com/link/6rCnmi) to create one! This will give both the game's Weebly account, and your new account $10 to use towards an upgrade once you've published (note: if you do not publish the site, no one gets the credits) your new website! * Subject to change per the discretion of the BVSG staff! *
1) Stallion/Mare Report - a stallion or mare report is an updated list of the foal/progeny ratings your horse has produced. All horses must have one.
2) Every time your horse is bred, the results will be e-mailed to you, as well as put in your stable chat. Make sure you keep track of these, as you will need to have it listed on your horse's page on your stable website.
3) The stallion and mare report will help you decide weather to cull or keep your stallion or mare.
4) The report allows you to match weaknesses and strengths of your horse when you are breeding.
1) Here is a list, in order (highest possible ratings to lowest possible ratings), of all the available ratings
EEE
EEP/PEE/EPE
EPP/PPE/PEP
PPP
SEE/EES/ESE
SEP/PES/SPE/ESP/EPS
SPP/PPS/PSP
SPS/SSP/PSS
SSS
2) A horse can produced higher or lower ratings than their own, it is all on a random factor.
3) Ratings do not affect how a horse will do in a show, it is a random factor.
4) Ratings do affect breeding. While a horse can produce ratings higher than their own, they will have weaker fertility and traits to pass on. * For example: an SSS stallion, and an SSS mare breed; by chance they get an EEE foal, the foal will be weaker in fertility and showing traits (such as intelligence, strength, etc.). In other words, the parents weaknesses would be "amplified". *
5) If a horse does not pass the fertility test, they can not breed. Horses who fail and are submitted for a breeding anyway will be ignored. * EEE rated horses are not exempt from this rule! If your EEE does not pass the fertility test; too bad, so sad, they cannot breed. *
